Router security keys?

help please i put a wep key on my router now i can not connect the kids x box takes the key please can any one tell me how i can put he wep key on to vista the computer picks up the wirless router but because its security enabled i can not connect

Long way round would be to hack the WEP key. Quick way would be to force a reset on the router and reconfigure from scratch ;-) You will need a pen to press the reset button for 5 seconds to set it back to factory default settings. Then it is like new.

Warning: All settings, including ADSL/DSL usernames and passwords will be lost!! I accept no responsibility if this advice goes wrong! :-)

Update: Connect the router via a network cable to your computer and browse to the setup page (usually http://192.168.1.1 or something). Login and reconfigure your wireless settings. Once reconfigured unplug network cable and try connecting wirelessly. HTH.
