Is any additional security needed....?

This is my first computer,it initially came with a 90 day Norton 2007 security that I dumped because it slowed me down.I now have the paid version AVG Internet Security 7.5.It works just fine,I like to manually scan about once every day,catching 100 or 150 cookie threats that are low priority.I also have Ad-Aware free version anti spyware.My last program is a paid version of System Mechanics,which I use to clean up files and defrag ect.Now I understand that you can have several anti-spyware programs that won't interfere with eachother.Is Spy bot %26 window washer any good?Also,is a router a good idea for protection?

Hey why you using so many paid tools. Am using only avast home edition, spybot search%26 destroy, pc tools firewall. Am staying protected well. Router is good idea only.

all are very good additions to your antispyware family, don't know about window washer though, check this out.
