Doe anyone know how to uninstall the CA security suite?

hello

i recently got the CA security suite (including antivirius, antispyware, firewall etc.) as a free trial but then i bought mcaffe sceurity center because ca was only a free trial. so i try and try to uninstall ca but all i get is a window that pops up and says "ca uninstalling" but then later doesn't do anything. i'm worried because the free trial is expired and i have no protection and since you can't have 2 security centers running at once. this might affect my computer.

please help me!

Have you tried disabling CA security suite from running at startup using msconfig?

If not,lets try that go to Start -%26gt; Run. Type msconfig

and press OK.

Go into the Startup tab and look for anything that you think has to do with the Internet Security Suite then uncheck it

then go to the services tab, at the bottom, check the hide all MS services. look for anything that you think has to do with the Internet Security Suite then uncheck it

This should disable the security etc. from starting as soon as you start your computer, which means it cannot be denied.

Restart the computer and try to uninstall it

If that doesnt work try restarting your computer in Safe Mode
